We have published much of our photo collection on-line. Please check back often as new photos are added regularly.

Do you have photographs that are connected to Oakville that should be in the collection? We are always happy to accept donations of your Oakville photos. We prefer to receive originals, but are also happy to receive high resolution electronic copies (600dpi .tif files is our standard). If you bring in photos, we can look after the scanning. We can also scan negatives and slides.

  16. Lakeside Park Picnic - Louise Teskey (seen in the middle with her hand raised) with four unidentified people. Louise "Blossom" Teskey (nee Appelbe) (1891-?) was the daughter of Louise A. Wilson and John K. Appelbe. She was the wife of C. F. Teskey, and the mother of Margaret Teskey and Gerda Teskey. She worked as a teacher at Central School.
