Photos

We have published much of our photo collection on-line. Please check back often as new photos are added regularly.

If you use or repost the photos from this site, please acknowledge that they are courtesy of the Oakville Historical Society and provide a link to our website.

High resolution copies of the photos are available for purchase by clicking on the "Send us Feedback" box at the top right of each photo. complete the pop-up box and indicate that you wish to purchase the photo and indicate how you intend to use it and we will get back to you.

Help us fill in the gaps. There are people and places we don't know. Use the "Send us Feedback" box to help us solve these mysteries and enrich the collection. Try doing a search using the term "unidentified" and tell us what we don't know.

Do you have photographs that are connected to Oakville that should be in the collection? We are always happy to accept donations of your Oakville photos. We prefer to receive originals, but are also happy to receive high resolution electronic copies (600dpi .tif files is our standard). If you bring in photos, we can look after the scanning. We can also scan negatives and slides.
